Friends, last night I faced a common household dilemma: a sink overflowing with dirty dishes. Utterly exhausted after a demanding day and feeling unwell, the thought of waking up to a messy kitchen filled me with dread. Yet, my body had simply reached its limit. However, a surprising ease descended upon me at 5:30 this morning as I tackled the chore. What normally takes considerable effort was completed in roughly half the usual time! Why do I share this seemingly trivial anecdote? To underscore a profound truth: there is an immense, often underestimated, power inherent in your mornings. It’s a time when tasks that feel monumental at night often become effortlessly manageable.

Mornings offer a unique clarity and freshness. This isn’t just about physical tasks; it extends to our spiritual and creative lives too. Prayer often feels more potent, more connected, in the quiet solitude of dawn. Creative ideas flow with an uninhibited ease that can be elusive later in the day. The world feels calmer, the mind less cluttered, making it an ideal canvas for planning, reflection, and focused work. By consciously choosing to make great use of your mornings, you unlock a hidden reservoir of productivity, peace, and spiritual renewal that can positively impact your entire day and week. It’s a simple shift that yields remarkable returns, transforming daunting chores into effortless routines and igniting your inner spark.

A Special Milestone: Celebrating Four Years and Homeschooling Success

On a more personal note, my beautiful little mini-me celebrated her fourth birthday last week! It feels like just yesterday she was a tiny bundle, and now she’s a vibrant, inquisitive little girl embarking on new adventures. To mark this significant milestone, and by a delightful coincidence, I took her for an early childhood screening right on her birthday. This routine, yet crucial, 30-minute assessment involves a children’s expert evaluating a child’s knowledge across a wide spectrum of developmental areas, alongside their physical fitness and social-emotional skills.

As a homeschooling parent, I admit I felt a surge of nerves. My daughter has never attended a traditional classroom setting, relying solely on our home-based curriculum and learning experiences. Naturally, I was intensely curious—and perhaps a little anxious—to see the results. This felt like a pivotal moment, a true test to determine if our homeschooling approach was effectively nurturing her growth and preparing her for future learning. Was she grasping fundamental concepts? Was she developing at pace with her peers? These questions weighed heavily on my mind as we entered the screening room.

And guess what? She absolutely soared! She answered every single question, not just correctly, but with an impressive depth of understanding and confidence that went above and beyond expectations. The screening expert, visibly impressed, turned to me and said, “Whatever you are doing, keep doing it.” Those words were more than just a compliment; they were a profound validation of our homeschooling journey. My heart swelled with an overwhelming sense of joy, relief, and immense gratitude. Thank you, Jesus, for this blessing and confirmation!

To celebrate her incredible achievement and her special day, I treated my girl to a fun shopping spree. I gave her the delightful task of picking out ten things she truly liked. Her selections, a joyful assortment of toys, coloring books, and various children’s treasures, have since brought a new, charming chaos to our kitchen—a delightful problem to have, indeed, as her creative space expands.

Moments of Beauty: Children’s Hair Care and Bonding

The weekend brought another small triumph: I was able to meticulously braid my daughter’s hair. We opted for yarn braids this time, a style I particularly love for its protective qualities and vibrant look. Usually, I secure the ends with colorful rubber bands, but they sometimes detach, leading to unraveling. So, this time, my wonderful husband, Mr. N, gently singed the edges. This clever technique seals the yarn, creating a sleek, durable finish that ensures the braids last much longer and look impeccably neat. His thoughtfulness and practical help always mean so much to me; I truly cherish that man.

Then, a smaller, yet equally miraculous event unfolded: I finally managed to braid my toddler’s hair! Anyone with a spirited toddler knows the monumental challenge this presents. I can’t count the number of times I’ve attempted to pursue her for a hair session, only to be met with fervent resistance. She has been sporting her naturally curly, ‘nappy’ hair for quite some time, a style that once innocently prompted someone to ask if I was intentionally grooming it into dreadlocks. Ha! The struggle has been real, a testament to her independent spirit. This time, however, through sheer patience and perhaps a touch of divine intervention, the braids were done. It’s a small victory, but one that brought immense satisfaction and a moment of quiet pride.

The demands of family, work, and unexpected moments sometimes push even the most organized plans off schedule. However, I am making a firm promise to myself and to all of you: this coming Saturday, the detailed written recipe will be published without fail, timed perfectly with its accompanying video on YouTube. Unlocking the Impossible: Reflections on “Manger Things” and Enduring Faith

At church, we recently embarked on an incredibly thought-provoking new series titled, “Manger Things.” This series delves into the profound events surrounding the birth of Jesus, exploring how the occurrences in that humble manger were not merely significant, but utterly extraordinary and miraculous. We reflected on questions that challenge human logic and comprehension:

• How could a virgin miraculously conceive a child?
• How could the King of kings, the Creator of the universe, be born in such a humble, unassuming place as a manger, of all possibilities?
• How did an angel, a celestial being, physically appear and convey divine messages directly to Mary?

These are not just historical questions; they are profound reflections on the supernatural nature of God. They remind us that His ways transcend the boundaries of human understanding, logic, and the natural laws we perceive. They show us that God operates in realms far beyond what we can see, know, or fully comprehend. His wisdom and power defy all conventional logic, inviting us to embrace a reality far grander than our limited perspectives.

The lessons from the manger powerfully illustrate that miracles are not relics of a distant past. The same God who orchestrated those astonishing events in the days of Jesus is still actively working miracles today, in our very lives. If you, like me, find yourself in desperate need of a breakthrough, a healing, a provision, or any form of divine intervention, I urge you to believe in Him. He is inherently the God of the impossible, for whom no challenge is too great, no circumstance too dire.
